first of all we would like to thank you and all the team for the professional service that you have given. Our bed is truly beautiful, It shouts romance and elegance, I feel that our lovely old house has been transported back in time.It's our dream bed and looks wonderful in the room. I love it love it love it. Please thank everyone for creating such a beautiful work of art. The young man that delivered was lovely. He was extremely polite and helpful. During the assembly a staple from the bed base caused a scratch on the paint work. The man said that he would report back to you and that you would send us a small pot of paint to "touch up". We would be very pleased if you would do that. Also he suggested that we sought your advice on cleaning the brasswork. Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi Heritage, Just a quick email to say thanks for the great service received from your company.

Having been let down at short notice by a company who we had ordered a bed from, my husband and I popped into your shop on a Saturday to look at the beds in your store. Just wanted to say thank you for the customer service (and the fantastic bed) we received.

Having ordered the bed on the Saturday, you promised delivery on the Thursday. You telephoned us a day or so beforehand confirming delivery on the date promised and arranged a time (rather than a generalised 4 hour slot that other companies give). You delivered at the time that you said that you would.

The bed was quick and easy to put together (with no arguments between me and the hubby – a miracle!) and looks great. I enclose a pic of the bed made up in our guest room (complete with obligatory cat in her bed testing position!).

We wanted to contact you to tell you how extremely pleased with our new wrought iron bedstead.  We looked online for a good quality bed that was solid, didn't creak and would last us for years to come, and that is exactly what we have received from Heritage Beds.

We also felt the customer service was friendly, professional and very efficient.  We asked if you could improve on the delivery time as we were expecting our first baby and had left the order a little too late.  I'm pleased to say the bed was delivered in good time and before our daughter Millie arrived. The bed was delivered and fully constructed in the bedroom, by your very helpful colleague. Who not only removed all the packaging and rubbish, but advised us on cleaning the brass elements, deconstructing the frame and various other things to maintain the frame.

We'd like to say we're having wonderful nights of sleep in our new bed, but with a 3 month old baby that is something we can only look forward to in the future.

Also I would like to take the opportunity to say how absolutely fabulous our new bed is.  As you know we spent a long time looking all over the place for both a bed and a mattress but eventually found Heritage Beds and with your help we finally chose the perfect bed for us and the perfect mattress to go with it.  The Somnus Chatsworth is wonderful and very very sumptuous.  I've lost count now of how many times hubby has been late for work!  Being able to have the bed made to our own size and colour requirements was really great and as you can see it looks amazing.  It has been very much admired by family and friends.  From start to finish our whole experience with you could not have been better - even the delivery was excellent - getting such a large bed and heavy mattress up the stairs in our tiny cottage!

Hi there.

We wanted to let you know that we are absolutely thrilled with our ivory Maud bedstead which I ordered with Cyril for our daughter and which arrived last month. So thrilled in fact that we will definitely want to order a duplicate for our second daughter so we have a matching pair for the future. Only problem is she's only 4 months old at the moment so won't be ready for a bed until 2010 so I wanted to ask if Maud was one of your regular designs, I'm guessing ivory is a fairly standard colour. We'd be gutted if we couldn't duplicate.

I wanted to get in contact to say thanks Cyril for giving me professional service in helping me decide and for delivering my bed promptly.

The delivery guy was also very helpful in navigating my Hampshire bed up my staircase with no damage.

I must admit it is the centre piece of my bedroom and have enjoyed every night i have slept in it.

I am absolutely delighted with my bed from Heritage Bed Company. I can see the quality in the castings and fittings. It is definitely something built up to a standard and not down to a price. I would definitely recommend your beds to someone looking for quality that lasts, as I appreciate it every day and I know I will not have to buy another bed (isn't this better for the environment and my pocket too?). It is so well made that I know it will see me out (and i'm only 35). It is built to a higher standard of material and workmanship than my girlfriends bed of a similar style that she bought for a similar price from Marks and Spencer home (the bars are stronger, the knobs bigger and the castings are bigger and more ornate).I also appreciated that the bed was put together in my bedroom by your delivery staff, as my time is precious.

Dear Heritage,

Thank you for manufactruring and supplying my Highgrove brass bed. It was delivered and assembled on schedule yesterday.

I wanted a substantial metal bed that was solid and well built . I wanted the bed to be an impressive, eye catching, quality piece of furniture. I did not want the bed to be ostentatious, overwhelming or dominant. I was prepared to pay the going rate for a special bed that was worth every penny. I visited all the generic retailers but none of their products came close.

I researched on the internet and was attracted by the Heritage Beds website. I visited Dusk till Dawn in Bristol to view a Heritage brass bed on the basis that the bed would have to sell itself. It did, without reservation. I ordered my bed on the spot.

to borrow the words from the Heritage Beds website, my Highgrove bed has been handcrafted to the highest standards by skilled craftsmen, without compromise and is a stunning bed with real presence.

The brass bed more than satisfies my own brief.

Thanks to Heritage Beds for supplying my bed and particular thanks to the craftsmen in the factory who must be rightly proud of their skills.

Hi, we wanted to get in touch to say how delighted we are with our new bed.

After many years of loving, but suffering on our four foot jingly jangly Victorian bedstead with a four foot six overhanging based balanced on top, we reluctantly parted from it. With age comes a desire for space and comfort so we bought a very good quality sleigh style bed from John Lewis. It was fine in our new contemporary house setting, but when we moved back to North Cornwall our house cried out for something more in keeping with its cottage credentials. We contemplated looking for another Victorian bedstead but our newfound comfort held us back from the change. Whilst browsing various bed sites we happened upon your website and were excited by what we heard and saw. We could not resist the promise of traditional construction and workmanship and are happy to report we have not been disappointed.

The order, delivery and assembly were smooth and the pleasure of sleeping in it is wonderfully nostalgic. The finish and detail is very authentic and not at all brassy, except in the very best sense. We love the way the heavy frame slots together, making it rock solid – no more jingling there. The base is perfect for our five foot mattress making it just as spacious and comfortable as our sprung slatted sleigh bed. It’s lovely to be sleeping up high again too! My husband used to polish the brass on our old bed once a year, but our new one has stayed as good as it was on the day it was delivered.

All in all, many thanks for enabling us to have the best of both worlds, tradition and comfort. We thoroughly recommend both your service and product and were particularly pleased to find you are a locally based company doing exactly what you claim . Well done!
